The TJ Computer Magnet has 100 freshman seats available. The first priority will be given to those students whose applications are received on or before December 10, 2009. Students who are invited to join the magnet program will be notified on February 22, 2010, and they will have until March 8, 2010 to accept or decline their invitation. At that point, any open spaces will be filled with qualified applications received after December 10, 2009.
All middle school students in the Denver Metro area are welcome to apply to the Computer Magnet. Prospective 9th graders who are accepted to the Computer Magnet at TJ will take our year-long freshman course, Introduction to Computer Magnet, which covers basic concepts and techniques from each of our four major strands:
• Communications Central
• Web Design
• Software Engineering
• 3-D Design

Como Matricularse en la Escuela Especializada de Computación
Todos los alumnos de escuelas secundarias en Denver pueden matricularse en la escuela especializada de computación. Los alumnos aceptados a este programa en Thomas Jefferson se matricularán en un curso de duración de un año, que se llama: Introducción a la Especialización de Computación. Los conceptos e ideas de los cuatro areas principales serán presentados:
•Centro de Comunicaciones,
•Diseno de la Red,
•Ingeñiería de Programas y Diseño de Tercera Dimensión.
Las solicitudes para matricularse ya están disponibles. La última fecha de entrega será el 12 de diciembre de 2008. Cada solicitud tiene que estar acompañada con dos cartas de recomendación de profesores y un transcript (lista de clases tomadas hasta la fecha) a:
